Cash 'Em Out (feat. K.J., Marcus & CapRoit)
The recording of Cash 'Em Out, first single off Tomm Dogg's second album I Invented Weekend, started in March 2011 in Vadodara, India. It was written by Tomm Dogg, K.J., Marcus and CapRoit, set at a tempo of 100 beats per minute. Cash 'Em Out was previously set to release in June 2011 with only K.J. and Marcus as the featuring artists, but the release date was pushed back due to label issues. The song was then released on December 29, 2011 through We Ain't Fall, which also featured CapRoit. Cash 'Em Out was premiered online on Tomm Dogg's SoundClick profile, and was released on air on January 3, 2012. ![]() Cash 'Em Out's marketing started in May 2011, by putting up posters in US, UK, Asian and Canadian market, priced at $250. However, We Ain't Fall refused to release the track on its scheduled date, and marketing campaigns were slowed down. By November, the label issues were resolved, and We Ain't Fall agreed to put the song in market. CapRoit was included in the song on last moment. Unlike the previous singles Fresh Mornin' Hustle: Reloaded and Drop It Hot, Tomm Dogg didn't want Cash 'Em Out to be a controversial track.
